Free Method to help you stop smoking in 6 weeks
Today we’re going to discuss a simple strategy that a smoker can use to cease smoking within six to eight weeks. This strategy is based on addiction psychology, and there is no drugs or nicotine patches or gums required.
The challenge for the motivated
I notice the common trend among people who try to overcome their addictions because they watch the video read a forum post, and get motivated to quit smoking. It could also be because of a good story of smoking cessation and the benefits that comes with it. They will say to themselves that this time I’m going to give up for good.
They are motivated, but no strategy, no plan of what to do other than to stay away from their substance of choice. By doing so, such persons are just taking a punt and hoping that it works. Unfortunately, more often than not, when you do this, the likely hood like many others, is that you will fail. I have been there many times, so I know.
Noticeably, a study found that only 1 in 10 people has overcome an addiction, so one can assert that this plan isn’t that effective. What I have found is by simply sticking to a strategy, any strategy, your chances of success skyrocket that’s.
Groups like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) are very effective because they follow a strict set of rules and have a battle plan. You need to have the same mindset when it comes to confronting your own addiction. Whether it be pornography, alcohol, smoking, video games, social media, whatever it is, you need to have a strategy. The strategy that I am suggesting to be used for the next couple of months is one that I found to be very effective.
Description of the 6 weeks smoking cessation strategy
It’s a strategy that I have seen many people teach. It’s a strategy that works if you follow it. So by now, you are probably wondering, what is the system?
Basically, instead of focusing all of the energy you are not engaged in your bad habit, focus all of your energy on building new good ones. By so doing, you slowly transform your life into a lifestyle where your substance of choice doesn’t even seem that appealing.
This means that the majority of this article should focus on how to build good habits. Many videos on youtube and blogs describe how habits engulf the individual and how they’re formed. How do you make sure that the new practices are embedded into your brain for good?
Also, there are videos on willpower and self-discipline, which give you the resources you need to start building these habits. I shall be doing another blog on it.
We’re going to talk about how you can change your environment, both your physical and your social environment, so that you live in an optimized place. Where building habits is more manageable than usual and after you’re done.
Now that you have learnt all of this principle, it’s up to you to actually take action, follow the things you’ve learned, and start building these good habits slowly. As you begin drilling good habits into your life, you’ll find that cigarette smoking will become less appealing.
Effectiveness of this free method
Why is this strategy so effective? Well, it really comes down to how habits work. We’re going to dive deeper into this concept later on in the course, but for now, just understand that old habits cannot be easily erased. Your dental practitioner can also help but this will definitely not be free.
Let’s think about riding a bike. You can stay away from a bike for ages, but if you learn how to do it at one point in your life, you can easily pick up a bike and within thirty minutes. You’ll, be riding almost as well as you used to our brains, store away habits until the day we die, and because of this, some scholars assert that you cannot erase an addiction for good.
You can’t just tell yourself that you’re going to stay away from pornography forever and hope that it happens because it’s impossible to forget habits for good. It is physically impossible, not going to happen, but what research has found is that you can alter these habits and what I mean by this.
Well, let’s say that you’re someone who turns to social media or smoking. Whenever you feel bored, you can alter this habit and replace the action you take when you feel bored. So, instead of going on Snapchat or Facebook, it is possible to train yourself to read a book or go to the gym.
Instead, this applies to those of you with a pornography addiction as well. If you can alter your habit of watching pornography by finding something that is also pleasurable to take its place, you can change how your mind works instead of reaching out to porn.
The outcome of using the method
Whenever you feel a certain way, you’ll find yourself reaching out to other things or people or experiences. If you can somehow get yourself to start reaching out to good habits that are beneficial for you, new habits make you healthier, happier wealthier. The time to stop is now.
Then we ‘Ll have solved the real problem. You’ll start living a life that’s actually worth living, and you won’t even need pornography in your life anymore, and that’s. The general strategy that we’re going to be implementing together over the next couple of months.
I thought I shall include Grit, Growth and Glory inspirational speech by Tom Brady to inspire you:
So what have we learnt this free method to help you stop smoking in 6 weeks
Data has shown that most people worldwide who have ever successfully given up smoking did it cold turkey.
What we are proposing here are abrupt cessation and complete abstinence. It’s absolutely free, and it doesn’t even have to be complicated.
Frank Olden (a Nationally (US) certified Tobacco Treatment Provider, a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, an NLP Master Trainer and a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist)
asserts that it’s really only a minority of former smokers (<25%) who actually quit with NRT or medications, and that’s only recently and mostly in the Western world.
Such a shame that Big Pharma has been so successful at advertising to people that you can’t succeed at quitting nicotine without medicating or taking nicotine in some other form.
All you have to change is your mindset. See my profile for other answers on this subject. Or some free online sessions. Frank Olden is a well-known specialist in this area.
This method certainly works. It involves taking charge of your brain and deciding if you are the boss or some stinking cancer stick.
A few decades ago, as I went about smoking, I realised that many people were looking at me and wondering if I was just weak, ignorant or both.
I quit cold turkey over 30 years ago and never looked back because I control myself.
This method is zero cost, and it helps ease you nearer the ultimate goal of Smoking Cessation, Never buy tobacco forever, and never smoke again!
